Lush

I’ve been enjoying creating stories in response to writing prompts, and now it’s time for an illustration based on a prompt. Illustration Friday threw out “Lush” as a prompt, and this is what I came up with. I think it’s really neat to see the very different takes that writers create based on a photo, and it’s the same with illustrators creating images based on a word. Little bug reminds me of the Cicada Killer I’ve got in my yard now. They make ground nests that look like ant hills. Fairly harmless if you only have a few. But can make your lawn a mess if you have a few dozen. Very nice – I can imagine this in a children’s story book.
