Mountains and moth

August 21, 2013

Moth wings above clouds and mountains

Earlier this summer, one of my daughters found a cicada wing, and I scanned it in to see the beauty of its details. Then, a month or so later, my other daughter found moth wings on the ground, and I also scanned them in. I was treated to more beautiful details. To see how it looked, I duplicated one of the wings and placed them on top of a photo I took close to where the wings were found (on the Blue Ridge Parkway in southwestern Virginia).
