Under the Sea

July 21, 2012

Whales and fishby Tess

The little fishies under the sea
Never say, “Who’s better than me?”
The little fishies are quiet and polite,
They never scare each other in the dark of night.

The whales, however, are loud and rude.
They fight and play with their food.
The fishes try to cure them of that,
But the whales just say, “Scram! Scat!”

So the fishies went to the wise old squid,
He told them what to do, and that’s what they did.
They went to the whales, asked to be nice.
The whales said, “Never! We’d rather be mice!”

So the fishes went to the whales’ bellies.
They said later, “it looked like jelly.”
They started to tickle them with a mop.
“Fine,” said the whales. “We’ll be nice. Just stop!”

So then the whales were nice,
They always helped animals under the ice.
Then one fishie who’s name was Tom,
Said, “I’m glad that the ocean is calm.”

sounds like a Children’s Book, lol suggesting your ideas as some form of capitalization is just so banal..but yeah your ideas are pretty neat.

That’s a fun idea for this to be part of a children’s book. Maybe other illustrations like this, that play off of letters. Food for thought…
