This Poem is Not About Elephants
Not one elephant here.
We have some tigers slinking in that tall grass,
some lazy lions yawning in the sun,
some giraffes trying on new sunglasses,
and two anteaters in search of picnics.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot:
there are some shy porcupines
hiding in those bushes over there.
But no, you’ll find no elephants in this poem.
So please move along.
