Artomatic@Frederick (part 3 of 2)

Pixel Tree painting
One more blog post about Artomatic@Frederick. I didn’t include an image of my Pixel Tree painting in my first two posts about this art show. Back then, I only had really blurry pics of the painting. But here’s a much better one.

Also, I wanted to say a little about the show. With Meet the Artist night a couple of weeks ago and a couple of volunteer shifts, I’ve had a chance to chat with several artists and see more artwork in the show. There’s a bunch to see, with about 70 rooms mazing in 4 floors of Frederick County’s old Board of Education building. Artwork of painting, photography, sculpture, some video. Wonderful stuff to see. And cool how diverse the pieces are — there are lots of creative people out there!

The show ends November 6, so there’s still some time to stop by and see the art. The show is free, and it’s in Frederick, Maryland, 115 E. Church Street.
