faced with a blank page (poem 49)

December 10, 2010
tags: ,

the blank page
stares
back at you
a window
that can be
whatever
you want it
to be
to be
what is it to be?
that is the question
hamlet
safe harbor in the small village
from the rough seas
that rack the coast
safe for now on the blank page
but
the storms of imagination
can change it into anything you
perchance to dream of
