Iambic Pentameter t-shirt
Droppin’ iambic pentameter beats, yo! So says Shakespeare on this new tee design. This funny Shakespeare t-shirt has an illustration of the Bard that is based on the engraving by Martin Droeshout on Shakespeare’s First Folio, which came out in 1623 and included 36 plays. On this t-shirt design, Shakespeare’s portrait is in a light blue oval, and the Bard talks about dropping sick beats in a yellow speech bubble.

Folger Shakespeare Library has a neato keano video on YouTube called “Living Iambic Pentameter” that shows teaching the rhythm of iambic pentameter to a class of kids.

A second Shakespeare t-shirt has another message in a talk bubble: “To be awesome, or not to be awesome.” Okay, so Hamlet’s speech didn’t exactly go like that. This Shakespeare tee updates the famous “To be, or not to be” beginning with an awesome twist.
