Lemon to lime
January 31, 2013
The lemon,
from time to time,
wished it was a lime,
saying,
“You’re lucky, you tart citrus delight!
You’re not synonymous with sour,
and you’re not used as a saying
for something that doesn’t work well.”
Said the lime, “There’s always
lemonade, as in the saying,
‘When life hands you lemons’ fame.
Besides, if you really want
to be famous, become an orange.
Now, they have it really good,
since everybody loves their juice.”
“Tell me about it,”
smirked the grapefruit.

This is a great version of that sad show about an annoying orange. Just the right angst, without being to sour lol
hahahaha!
Very clever as usual!
Ha ha ha – great!
